Also, their order line gives different information to send emails than their website. Their email support so far has been less than I would have expected (3 days and I have not received a reply). Please look at the support on their website before you order: I could not find a telephone number for support they have a number for ordering, but it is computerized and I could not get a human-after a long hold time.
Dramatica pro demo software#
I do not know when this software was last updated, but it must have been recent because there website has not been updated and some other sites are still advertising the older version. I cannot see a professional writer using this software. Also, the story creation part does not seem to me to be what is described in the reviews and in their website. The newer version does not have the word processing feature. Those previous reviews must have been based on older versions of the program. I purchased the software based on the description on their site, as well as reviews in some other sites geared toward writer's. This opinion is based on my experience with Stor圜raftPro 5.0 only.įirst of all, they have no download of a demo on their website. I have no previous experience with older versions of Stor圜raft or Stor圜raftPro.
Dramatica pro demo pro#
The latest version of Stor圜raft Pro is 5.o. If they are missing any of these, I would at least send an email to see how quickly and adequately they respond before purchasing. In the mean time, buyer beware: Check out the web sites (do they have a telephone number, street address, email support, return policy stated, actual software to demo?) if not, beware. I'm also curious about the newnovelist software, but I see two red flags (no telephone number and no stree address) also, I don't like their "flash demo." I will review many of these as time and money permits. Besides Dramatica Pro 4.0, Writer's DreamKit 4.0, StoryWeaver 3, and Stro圜raft 5, I have been reviwing Writer's Blocks (expensive, but useful to me), Power Structure and Power Writer (I wish they were combined into one program), StoryView (interesting, but not useful to me yet, and too expensive just to have unused-maybe if I we writing screenplays I'm sure this is useful to some other writers download the demo yourself and see), Storylines (neet program, but I don't like their demo).
